The taste and odor problem in the water is apparently coming from the source water in Lake Halbert as other area water systems that also purchase water are reporting the same problem. There have been problems with algae blooms in the Lakes including Lake Halbert over the past several summers. As we purchase treated water from the City of Corsicana we have no direct control of the smell and taste but will continue flushing our lines to help. All of our monthly water samples have tested OK.
